Classification of plastic shredding (PET, PP and PE) by polymer and colour

PRTR Call for Proposals Project

This project focuses on the installation and commissioning of a material sorting line consisting of two sortex-type machines that will operate in series. The first, with a capacity of 1500kg/h, will separate the materials by their polymer being able to discriminate PET from non-PET or, alternatively, PP from PE. In practice, we can separate three material streams: rPET, rPP and rPE. The second sortex machine, with a capacity of 800 kg/h, separates the materials by their colour.
