PRTR Call for Proposals Project

Within the framework of a circular economy, the project focuses on reducing one of the most relevant wastes derived, mainly, from the agriculture sector and waste managers. In particular, it seeks to improve the recovery of LDPE composite plastic waste by modernizing and expanding the warehouse to include a new recycling line with advanced and innovative technology. To this end, it will optimize the recycling process and increase the amount of materials destined for high-quality recycling.

The main objective of the project is to integrate a new recycling line with advanced and innovative technical features to improve the management of LDPE composite plastic waste. The amount of materials destined for the high-quality recycling process will be increased, from 3,000t per year to 4,000t. In addition, the selection process will be optimized; Currently, 30 tonnes of plastic waste are sent to landfills or incinerators, and this amount will be reduced to 10 tonnes per year, which translates into a reduction of 33.3%.
