Project based on a new chemical recycling plant for plastic waste with a high proportion of polyolefins, low humidity, a low proportion of PETs and the like, as well as the total elimination of PVC compounds, which through novel technologies from their thermal degradation with pyrolysis, leads to their conversion into pyrolytic oil.
The line will have a capacity of 25,000t/y of waste, obtaining 15,000t/y of plastics suitable for chemical recycling and 10,000t/y of invalid fractions that will be managed and revalued depending on their typology. On the other hand, the chemical recycling modules will allow the pyrolysis process to be carried out to obtain oils that replace petroleum, which will be used as raw material to manufacture new plastics, solid fraction (char) and gaseous fraction (non-condensable hydrocarbons). The modules will have a maximum input capacity of 35,000 t/year, taking into account that 15,000 t/y will be supplied by the pre-treatment line, and 10,000 t/y of waste pretreated by managers, with which 15,000 t/y of pyrolysis oils, 3,750 t/y of “Char”, will be obtained for use by third parties for use in the cement industry. thus achieving the recovery of 17.5% of the waste produced in the pyrolysis process. The gaseous fraction will be used as an energy source for the pyrolysis burning process.
