TRABAJAenVERDE: comprehensive training programme for the sustainable use of natural resources in rural areas

Empleaverde+ program

TRABAJAenVERDE is a comprehensive training programme for the sustainable use of natural resources in rural areas, developed within the framework of the Empleaverde+ Programme and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.

The general objective of the project is to train rural workers in green skills linked to the sustainable use of natural resources, improving their employability and promoting entrepreneurship in sectors of the ecological economy.

The training actions address sectors linked to the ecological transition and the green economy in rural areas: beekeeping and derived products, mycology (mushrooms and truffles), chestnut harvesting, non-timber forest products, aromatic and medicinal plants, interpretation and guidance of nature in areas of the Natura 2000 Network, ecotourism and active tourism, and the sustainable use of cork oak and cork. The advice complements the training with personalised itineraries aimed at improving employability and entrepreneurship, paying special attention to workers at risk of social exclusion.

The methodology combines an online theoretical phase through an e-learning platform and a face-to-face practical phase.

The project is carried out in a group between IRMA S.L. as the coordinating entity and the Valdelosa City Council as a partner entity.
