The main objective of the Helipistas project is to train new commercial helicopter pilots to access critical Fire Fighting (LCI) and forest management operations, filling an essential gap of experience in the sector.

2028 Related callTo equip a newly graduated commercial helicopter pilot from the school with the experience and specific training for the firefighting operation.
Thanks to this rigorous program, graduated pilots will have 400 hours of IDP, significantly exceeding the reduced minimum requirement of 350 hours of ICP for water launching. This makes them highly experienced professionals and directly employable in the initial phase of Fire Fighting operations with light helicopters, following the standard professional career path of the sector in Spain.
