Once again, CANAGUA attends its biennial event at the Canary Islands Trade Fair Institution (INFECAR) in the X Edition of the International Water, Energy and Environment Exhibition, which will take place from November 16 to 19, 2005, to show the latest developments in the sectors of production and use of water, energy and environment.

The strategic location in which the Canary Islands archipelago finds itself and its extensive experience in the field of water, have made CANAGUA a suitable setting for the debate and exchange of experiences of a multitude of professionals, entities and public administrations from countries on different continents, with problems in converging interests in hydraulic matters, energy and environmental.

Due to the important moment in which the energy sector finds itself, CANAGUA once again has a pavilion dedicated solely to the exhibition of the latest developments in products in this sector. In addition, technical conferences will take place in parallel where the latest advances will be discussed and which constitute an added incentive for the professionals attending this important international event.

The Biodiversity Foundation will be represented in this room at the technical conference: “Gran Canaria for the Environment: Business Opportunities for Canarian SMEs”. Mónica Pérez de las Heras, director of the Department of Communication and Awareness, will participate in the block dedicated to Climate Change, where she will present the “Biodiversity Foundation Awareness Campaign: get your Kyoto card”.
