The National Centre for Environmental Education (CENEAM), attached to the Ministry of the Environment, has created a digital photo library, which is available to all citizens on the ministry’s website. CENAM’s digital photo library is made up of 15,000 photographs taken, for the most part, by professional photographers. The topics covered are: Spanish ecosystems, flora, fauna, protected natural spaces, environmental education, environmental impact and a collection of images from South America.

It has a search engine that allows you to locate the desired photographs and consult the information associated with each of them (species, places, themes…). It also allows the download and printing of the image. The use of these photographs is free of charge as long as it is a non-profit use. The origin of the material in the archive must be reflected as follows: CENEAM-OAPN-MMA and the author of the photograph must be included next to it.
