Cristina Narbona inaugurates a conference on water management in the Community of Madrid

The Minister of the Environment, Cristina Narbona, inaugurates the conference “Water management in the Community of Madrid”.

These conferences, organized by the Recoletos Group, will address various issues related to the Community of Madrid such as its territorial structure, the availability of resources and infrastructures, public and private participation in water management, the actions of the Ministry of the Environment, the actions of the Canal de Isabel II, the role of the City Council in the integral water cycle and the economic instruments for optimal water management (tariffs, water banks, markets). The inauguration will be attended by the First Vice-President and Spokesman of the Government of the Community of Madrid and President of Canal de Isabel II, Ignacio González. The presentations and round tables of the conference will be attended by, among others, senior officials from the Ministry of the Environment and the Tagus Hydrographic Confederation.
