Environment and the IDAE sign a collaboration agreement to promote wind energy in the actions of the A.G.U.A. Program

The Secretary General for Territory and Biodiversity, Antonio Serrano, and the Secretary General for Energy and President of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), Ignasi Nieto, will sign a collaboration agreement for the use of wind potential in infrastructures and land in the public domain managed by the hydrographic confederations.

The agreement aims to carry out the selection and evaluation of sites, as well as the necessary studies to determine the technical and economic viability of possible wind farm projects, taking advantage of hydraulic and electrical infrastructures or land in the public domain, managed by the Ministry of the Environment through the hydrographic confederations.

This agreement is part of the general protocol of collaboration between the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade for the development and execution of the actions of the A.G.U.A. Program and promotion of renewable energies.
