The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment has organized a course on organic agriculture with the aim of establishing modifications in production methods, a course aimed at the implementation of more sustainable productivity through participatory methodologies that promote local development and improve the quality of life in rural areas.
The course, 50% co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), will be held between November 12 and 16 at the National Center for Agricultural Training of San Fernando de Henares in Madrid with a first module under the title “Trainers in Organic Agriculture”.
This initiative also aims to promote the knowledge of advisors, technicians and professionals and improve the technical-scientific profile of university graduates. The course is aimed at trainers and technicians from administrations, as well as professional agricultural organizations, cooperatives and associations in rural areas or rural development groups and university postgraduates who work in the dissemination of organic production programs as well as in advice and training of farmers, ranchers and foresters.
