The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, has participated in the inauguration of the IV CSR MarketPlace, organized by Forética (the leading association of companies and professionals in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The Forética MarketPlace, which was held in the Convention Pavilion of the Casa de Campo in Madrid,  is an innovative concept of exchange and networking between companies to facilitate knowledge, promote action and leadership in CSR. This meeting  It has allowed us to learn first-hand about 50 business management solutions that are addressed from the perspective of sustainability and social responsibility, and which have been presented by 45 companies and entities. The successful initiatives fall into five categories of business management: ‘Climate Responsible’, ‘Community Impact’, ‘CSR and Market’, ‘Workplace’ and ‘Transparency and Good Governance’.

For this edition of MarketPlace 2012, we have had the sponsorship of IKEA and Sanitas, the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation and the support of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

The MarketPlace was created by CSR Europe in 2005. Throughout the three editions held, this unique event in Spain has had a total of more than 1,100 participants.
