South Korea to host IUCN World Conservation Congress in September

From September 6 to 15, the World Conservation Congress of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the world’s most important conservation event, will take place at the International Convention Center in Jeju (South Korea).

Every four years, the World Conservation Congress brings together governmental and non-governmental leaders, the public sector, companies, United Nations agencies and social organizations, with the aim of improving the way our environment is managed for human, social and economic development, through debate and the adoption of solutions to the most pressing environmental problems worldwide.
