The ESADE business school, with the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation, today gave the training programme “Emprende en verde”, aimed at the entrepreneurs of the 21 pre-finalist candidates of the second edition of the Red emprendeverde awards that seek to create innovative companies linked to the environment.
The course, which was inaugurated today by the Director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, together with the Technical Secretary General of ESADE, Enrique López Viguria, and the Academic Director of the ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute, Jordi Vinaixa, provides new knowledge in key areas of entrepreneurship such as the lean start-up method, marketing for entrepreneurs, the financial needs of the company and the presentation of projects to potential investors.
The training sessions, which are held in the space dedicated to entrepreneurs EGarage at the ESADE campus in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), will conclude tomorrow in a conference in which representatives of the companies will also participate. Eco2next and Bodevici Bioconcept, awarded in the previous edition of the Red emprendeverde Awards.
In addition to this course, the training program of the Red emprendeverde awards is complemented by the training “Grow and consolidate in green”, given by the IESE Business School to the entrepreneurs of the 15 candidacies that opt for the awards in the category aimed at micro-enterprises and SMEs already constituted with potential for growth and job creation in the green economy sector.
The Biodiversity Foundation promotes these awards within the framework of the Emprendeverde Network, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme for Adaptability and Employment 2007-2013.
