The Secretary General for Territory and Biodiversity and President of the Board of Trustees of the Biodiversity Foundation, Antonio Serrano, and the Director General of the Biodiversity Foundation, María Artola, presented the Climate Change Awareness Campaign “Get your Kyoto card” promoted by the Biodiversity Foundation, as well as its new website. This new website includes the new activities, needs and objectives of the Foundation. This web portal has an institutional section and a section for children and young people, aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues among children.

From the home page you can access generic information about the Foundation and all its departments: Communication and Awareness, Training, International, Studies and Projects. These sections provide information on the activities and current affairs of each of them

A novelty of this website are two new sections: Biodiversity in Spain and BioDiver. In the first, dedicated to the biological wealth of our country, the most important species of both fauna and flora, threatened and endemic species, and our protected natural areas can be visited and detailed. BioDiver, children’s and youth section, is the most dynamic part of the website. In it, the little ones, guided by different characters, will find different games – such as riddles, word searches, games to learn to recycle, or a game of mistakes – information and interesting downloads that will teach them to respect and conserve the environment.
