The Biodiversity Foundation participates in CONAMA 2012

The Biodiversity Foundation participates in the eleventh edition of the National Environmental Congress, CONAMA 2012, which is held at the IFEMA fairgrounds, Feria de Madrid, between November 26 and 30, organized by the Conama Foundation.

The Biodiversity Foundation has organized, in coordination with the Autonomous Agency of National Parks, the Spanish Office for Climate Change, the State Meteorological Agency and Ferrovial Agromán, the dynamic room “Monitoring Global Change in the Network of National Parks”, which will be held on Thursday, November 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Bratislava Room. and that will feature the participation of personalities from the scientific, journalistic, business and conservation worlds to discuss global change.

On the other hand, it has organized two activities dedicated to green jobs, through the Emprendeverde Network, which will present the successful experiences of entrepreneurs who are members of the Network on Tuesday, November 27 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Green Jobs Conama-EOI Space, a space for advice and reflection on “green” employment in the environmental sector. coordinated by the School of Industrial Organization (EOI). In this same space, the workshop “Experiences of land stewardship” will take place on Wednesday, November 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the entrepreneurs’ workshop “Speednetworking: speed dating for green entrepreneurs and the Emprendeverde Network”, on Thursday, November 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Biodiversity Foundation will also be present in several technical sessions. It will participate in “Land Stewardship and Financing Mechanisms for Nature Conservation: Habitat Bank” on Tuesday, November 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Amsterdam Room and in “Training for sustainability: key to economic recovery”, scheduled for Wednesday, November 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Caracas-Bogotá Room.
