The Biodiversity Foundation participates in the eighth edition of the Ibero-American Meeting on Sustainable Development (EIMA 8), which opens today in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Until 20 October, institutional and local body representatives, business leaders, leaders of civil society organisations and teaching staff will discuss issues related to the green economy, energy, water and cities, the four thematic blocks of this eighth edition.
Since 1996, the year of its first celebration within the framework of the third National Congress on the Environment, this forum has sought to transfer CONAMA’s work philosophy to the Ibero-American sphere. This eighth meeting, in whose organization the Biodiversity Foundation collaborates with the CONAMA Foundation, aims to be an important opportunity for the fight against climate change and the protection of biodiversity, with the participation of representatives from different Ibero-American countries, as well as Brazil and Spain.
