The Biodiversity Foundation participates in the World Congress on Sustainable Building

The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment participates in the World Sustainable Building Congress “World Sustainable Building 2014”, which is being held until October 30 in Barcelona. The objective of the Congress is to promote a Roadmap, launching a process that allows the sector to define local action plans aimed at giving, as soon as possible, an effective response to the global, social and environmental challenges it faces.

The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment participates in the World Sustainable Building Congress “World Sustainable Building 2014”, which is being held until October 30 in Barcelona. The objective of the Congress is to promote a Roadmap, launching a process that allows the sector to define local action plans aimed at giving, as soon as possible, an effective response to the global, social and environmental challenges it faces. The “World Sustainable Building 2014” is the world’s largest meeting on sustainable building, where the most important and influential international institutions in the field meet.
 
With 144 sessions, in several shifts with 18 in parallel in each of them, three keynote sessions and three round tables, the aim is to respond to the global social and environmental challenges faced by the building sector.
 
The Minister of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, Isabel García Tejerina, will be responsible for closing these three conferences that will address the main challenges that the construction sector must address in the coming years to achieve the objectives of reducing its environmental impact and lowering CO2 emissions.
