The Biodiversity Foundation will celebrate World Environment Day, on June 5, with various activities scheduled at its headquarters in Seville, located in the Plaza Patio de Banderas 16 in the capital of Seville.
With the aim of bringing natural heritage closer to the public, the biologist and technical director of the Services of Education and Environmental Studies, S.L., Francisco J. Guerra Rosado, will give on June 4, at 7:00 p.m., the presentation “Heritage within reach of all eyes: An introduction to the Interpretation of Natural and Cultural Heritage”.
Francisco J. Guerra is a specialist in Heritage and Technical Interpretation and is dedicated to the design and development of interpretive means and planning. In this talk, he will address the principles, resources and techniques of Interpreting, among other contents.
Storytelling day on June 5.
In addition, and in order to promote awareness and social participation, the Biodiversity Foundation will also organize recreational activities for the whole family at the same headquarters.
On June 5, the auditorium will host a day of storytelling that will feature the performance of Escenoteca, a company specialized in performing arts and education that will surprise children and adults with a proposal that combines narration and dramatization.
The schoolchildren of CEIP La Candelaria in Seville will attend the storytelling in the morning session and, in the afternoon, the activity will be aimed at adult audiences.
The Seville headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation (Patio Banderas 16, Seville) opened to the public in 2013 as a meeting place between agents of the administration, the business sector, the scientific community and citizens to promote dissemination, education, analysis, dialogue and reflection on environmental matters.
