“You are a candidate for the Biodiversity Foundation Awards”. With this motto, the Biodiversity Foundation, a public foundation of the Government of Spain, under the Ministry of the Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs, opens today the deadline to participate in the first edition of the Biodiversity Foundation Awards, awards that aim to recognize the work of all those people and organizations that, with their work, contribute to the sustainable development of the rural and fishing environment. as well as the conservation and knowledge of natural heritage and biodiversity.
Endowed with a total amount of 100,000 euros, the awards are presented in partnership with a campaign that encourages entrepreneurs and creators to publicize their environmental projects: “If you have undertaken an economic activity that contributes to maintaining the ecological values of your territory; if you belong to an organization that is developing a project linked to the conservation of the environment; if through a photograph, a documentary, a report or a literary work you have managed to capture the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable development. You are a candidate for the Biodiversity Foundation Awards”.
