The director of the Spanish Office for Climate Change of the Ministry of the Environment, Teresa Ribera, participated yesterday in the seminar “Kyoto Protocol: Business Challenges and Opportunities”, framed within the Congress for Business Internationalization EXPORTA 2006, which is held in Madrid.
The workshop analysed the role of the different institutions of the Administration involved in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and the instruments created to facilitate the presence of Spanish companies in the international projects that have been developed since the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol.
EXPORTA 2006 has been designed by the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), the State body that provides its services to Spanish companies to promote and facilitate their international projection.
