The Biodiversity Foundation launches the NESIemprendeverde Programme in Malaga, aimed at 30 future entrepreneurs of the Emprendeverde Network.
The Trade Fair and Congress Centre (FYCMA) in Malaga hosts the NESI Forum on New Economy and Social Innovation, which brings together for the first time in history the main international representatives of the so-called New Economic Movements (NEMs). The New Economy & Social Innovation forum will bring together 900 opinion leaders and activists from alternative movements until Saturday in Malaga.
In this forum, the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and the Environment, organizes through the Emprendeverde Network the NESIemprendeverde Program, aimed at 30 future entrepreneurs of the Network to improve their skills and promote the exchange of experiences with European entrepreneurs and speakers with a positive environmental impact.
The NESIemprendeverde Programme, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund, aimed at achieving quality training and employment, combines specific and exclusive sessions designed for the 30 selected entrepreneurs, and open sessions provided for in the NESI forum programme, in which they will have priority participation. Entrepreneurs will be guided on the open sessions that may be of most interest to them depending on their profile and the skills to be acquired.
In one of the exclusive sessions for the 30 participants of the Emprendeverde Network “Improving entrepreneurial skills and contribution of sustainable entrepreneurship and social innovation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Climate Change”, successful experiences will be presented and it will be explained how green entrepreneurship and its entrepreneurs can be agents of change to achieve the SDGs and the Climate Change Goals of the Paris Agreement.
After the interventions, a participatory and collaborative session will be held in which various entrepreneurial skills will be analysed and developed and how to integrate sustainability criteria into business plans. Real examples of good practices will be provided and proposals for various thematic areas will be worked on in groups.
The 30 entrepreneurs selected to participate in the NESIemprendeverde Program want to undertake in the following sectors: social economy, collaborative economy, circular economy, agroecology, sustainable aquaculture, waste management, energy efficiency and ecological toys.
