The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment participates, through the Biodiversity Foundation, in the meeting The South Summit, organized by Spain Startup, IE Business School and IE Foundation. It is an initiative that brings together entrepreneurs, international investors and leading companies in innovation in Madrid with the intention of developing businesses.

From today, and until Friday, in La N@ve (Madrid), the Biodiversity Foundation participates with a stand of the Emprendeverde Network, in which activities have been scheduled where different green entrepreneurs will show their products and services, a showcase where different green products will be exhibited, or meetings with investors of the Network, which have been made available to entrepreneurs to personally learn about their projects and answer their queries.

The exhibitor of the Emprendeverde Network will be attended by twelve entrepreneurs and three investors from the platform. Thus, in the first session the wooden bicycles of “Kardam Bikes S.L” will be present; the milk and organic mare colostrum for food and cosmetics from “EcoLactis”; the smart thermostats of “Momit”; the ecological products made of recycled cardboard from “Resistible”; the selfie stick made of bamboo, cork and aluminum from “ZHU Concepts”. ENISA (National Innovation Company) will be present as a representation of investors and financiers of the Network, a public company that, since 1982, has actively participated in the financing of viable and innovative business projects.

In the second session, it will be the turn of “Auara”, a company that bottles natural mineral water in 100% recycled PET; “Feltai”, which manufactures products obtained from the wool of Xalda sheep, in danger of extinction in Asturias and which is given a second chance thanks to its value; “iLiüi”, which produces decorative and fashion objects with reused materials; “Kliu Solutions S.L”, which uses cork cladding for building; and “Ibero-Rest”, which designs and develops ecological restoration projects for degraded spaces. On the investor side, Keiretsu Forum Spain, an international association of private investors, business leaders and entrepreneurs, will attend to the demands and queries of visitors on the second day.

In the third and final session, “E-Leaf” will participate with its electric motorcycles with removable lithium battery and “Flowers on the table” with its edible flowers. The investment side will be represented by Triodos Bank, an ethical and sustainable bank that combines financial returns with social and environmental returns. Also, during the three days of the event, the stand will have a sample of nine other products and services from entrepreneurs of the Network.
