The Entorno Foundation presented yesterday its alliance with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), by which it becomes the member of the WBCSD Regional Network in Spain and officially constitutes the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development. This agreement was created with the aim of positioning Fundación Entorno as a benchmark capable of providing Spanish companies with new networks, both national and international, that facilitate the transmission of knowledge and experiences, promote cooperation and alliances, and enhance communication with all its stakeholders.

During the presentation of the new alliance, the director of the Fundación Entorno, Cristina García-Orcoyen, explained that ‘this agreement strengthens and consolidates us as a benchmark organisation for business sustainability in Spain, and gives us the capacity to provide concrete and global responses to companies that want to include sustainable development in their business strategy. that is, companies that want to be well managed’.

The president of the WBCSD, Björn Sitgson, expressed his satisfaction at signing this new alliance with an entity such as the Fundación Entorno, with a long history of work on sustainable development issues, and highlighted the important link that the Spanish Business Council will now represent for Spanish companies and their relations in Latin America.
