The Biodiversity Foundation will participate in San José (Costa Rica), next Friday, November 25, in one of the thematic panels of the international seminar “Vocational training: towards a carbon neutral economy”, sponsored by the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Some successful experiences will be presented, within the framework of the Empleaverde Programme, in Spain. Within the thematic panel on “International Good Practices”, the Biodiversity Foundation will contribute its experience through the Empleaverde Programme regarding the training, training and improvement of the skills of self-employed professionals and workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as the creation of companies, in the environmental sector.

The Biodiversity Foundation launches annual calls for proposals, in order to support projects based on a training-action model that manages to create companies in the green sector, and that also obtains quantifiable results for the benefit of workers, companies and the environment. To achieve these objectives, the projects supported by the empleaverde Programme include various actions, from training courses, e-learning platforms, conferences, seminars and congresses, to awards and competitions, information and communication campaigns, guides, informative and informative material, personalised advice or networks.
