The Jury of the III Edition of the Responsible Beach Bars Awards meets

On September 15, the deadline for submitting candidacies to participate in the III Edition of the Responsible Beach Bars Awards closed. In total, this year’s edition, which has the collaboration of Mahou-San Miguel, has had the participation of 76 beach bars that have developed more than 300 initiatives, which have been assessed this morning at the meeting of the Jury of these Awards, which has met at the headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture. Food and Environment.
 
The Jury is chaired by the director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Sonia Castañeda, and has among its members Pablo Saavedra, General Director of Sustainability of the Coast and the Sea of the Ministry, Beatriz Herrera, Manager of Corporate Responsibility of Mahou-San Miguel, Esther García, General Director of Local Policies of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, Pablo Navajo, Director of Training and Environment of the Spanish Red Cross, José Ramón Sánchez, President of the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education, and Ignacio Torres, Deputy Director of the Biodiversity Foundation.
 
The Awards, which will be presented on October 21, have a financial endowment of 7,000 euros, divided into three categories that reward the best environmental initiatives developed in these establishments and the promotion of good environmental practices.
