The Ministry of the Environment has presented today in Madrid the CLARITY Project, a self-published exhibition on climate change to contribute to the knowledge and dissemination of this phenomenon, its causes and the responses that are being proposed to deal with it.
Prepared in CDrom format, CLARITY has been designed so that school groups, associations, entities, municipal departments or cultural and environmental projects can produce their own exhibition at a reasonable cost and effort, as well as organize activities on climate change and its consequences.
In the exhibition content, the attention paid to human aspects stands out, both in terms of impacts and the responses that are being developed to address the complex phenomenon of climate change. The block of impacts has been developed in a special way in order to correct those erroneous perceptions that citizens have about the consequences of climate change, such as the increase in temperatures, or those aspects that are less known.
The Spanish version of the CLARITY Project has been supervised, from a technical point of view, by the OECC. The CDrom includes high-resolution copies of the exhibition and will be provided to teachers, educational centers, associations and interested entities free of charge and upon request to the National Center for Environmental Education.
