The photographic exhibition Biodiversity in Spain is open to the public

On the occasion of the International Year of Biodiversity, the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs and the Repsol Foundation have organized an exhibition that will
He will show through 50 large-format photographs the complexity of life in its various facets.

The exhibition Biodiversity in Spain can be visited at the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid until May 14. The open-air photographic exhibition aims to raise awareness among visitors about our responsibility for the dangerous decline of species and the services they provide us, and to help significantly reduce the current rate of biodiversity loss.

The exhibition, carried out by Lunwerg Editores, is structured in five sections: “What is life, do we know how to live?”; “The vital systems of Spain (endemism). Our multiplicity”; “Uses and abuses”; “Rescue operations”; and “Towards coexistence with life. Liveliness as a model”.

The images of prestigious nature photographers, commented on by renowned scientists, show the elements, processes and cycles that endow the planet with the most surprising phenomenon of the Cosmos, liveliness or habitability.

The exhibition brings the viewer closer to elements, processes and cycles that provide our planet with special and essential conditions for the development of life. It is a journey through the many facets of life and a representation of all the manifestations of life that accompany us on Earth. It is also an invitation to investigate and learn about the species that have been discovered in recent times.

The exhibition Biodiversity in Spain can be visited from April 22 to May 14 at the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid in Plaza de Murillo, 2.
