The Twitter account of the Red emprendeverde, @emprendeverde, has been nominated for the Tweets Awards in the #TweetGreen category. In this category, according to the jury that has selected the candidates, the aim is to reward the Twitter account that promotes taking care of our planet, to convey that change can be made with the small contribution that each one of us makes to keep the environment that shelters us green and to spread this message through social networks.

@emprendeverde has been selected for being “a pioneer in the ‘green business’, for offering very useful information and resources on entrepreneurship in this sector, also facilitating meeting points between investors and entrepreneurs”.

The Tweets Awards Academy, in its third edition, brings together expert professionals who have selected 3 nominees for each of the 11 categories that this year make up the official section of the awards. These 11 academics represent research, development, communication, the communication society, sociology and technology. Each one is responsible for one of the categories having been assigned according to their degree of experience and knowledge in that sector.

Once the study and selection period is over, the voting process begins, open to any Twitter user who wants to give their vote to their favorite. Only one vote per candidate and per category is allowed. The deadline for voting is open until October 4.

The vote consists of a tweet that must contain the hashtag of the category, the @ user who is being voted for and the reason for the vote “#categoría Vote to @mifavorito why”.
