Climate change will be the protagonist in the city of Vigo between November 5 and 9, dates chosen for the meeting of the 300 experts convened by the UN.
The objective of this meeting is to prepare the report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an evaluation prepared every six or seven years that includes all the research carried out in 195 countries.
The different meetings, which will be held at the Barrié Foundation and at the Novacaixgalicia Social Centre, aim to draw conclusions on the impact of climate change and its evolution.
Among the organizations present at the meeting will be the Ramón Areces Foundation, the José Manuel Entrecanales Foundation, the Xunta de Galicia, the Vigo City Council and the Basque Climate Change Center, the Economics for Energy research center and the University of Vigo and the Spanish Office for Climate Change of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment.
