Spain, Italy and Tunisia hold the second Management Committee of the ECOSAFIMED project of the European ENPI Mediterranean Basin Programme at the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies of Tunisia.
Until 12 June, the participating partners will analyse the progress of the project “Conservation of ecosystems and sustainable artisanal fisheries in the Mediterranean Basin (ECOSAFIMED)”, which within the framework of the European ENPI Mediterranean Basin Programme aims to create scientific recommendations to guarantee the sustainability of artisanal fisheries in the Mediterranean.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, through the Biodiversity Foundation, coordinates this cross-border initiative in which the Institute of Marine Sciences of the Higher Council for Scientific Research ICM-CSIC, the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies of Tunisia and the University of Genoa participate.
