The registration period is now open on the empleaverde.es website and in Vivesaprende.org and will end on September 3.

We are launching a new action aimed at unemployed people to help them find work in entities related to the green economy. This second edition of “Green Employment Destination: agroecology and urban gardens” is part of the Empleaverde Programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund and will take place from 16 September to 28 November at the La Noria social innovation centre in Malaga.

The action will have the Vives Aprende methodology developed by the NGO Action Against Hunger, which has already been applied in previous programs achieving very positive results to find employment. This method, in which almost 600 people have already participated, mostly women since 2017, has made it easier for 44% of the women and 36% of the participating men to find work immediately.

It is a comprehensive and practical training methodology in technical knowledge, as well as in skills for employment, identified as key to obtaining work in the green economy sector, such as trust and communication, and with a direct relationship with companies.

EXPERIENTIAL ITINERARIES

To this end, participants will carry out a series of experiential itineraries ranging from group and personalized sessions, participation in the “Cultivating Employment” event aimed at boosting their employability, to attending technical workshops, visits to companies, simulation of job interviews or internships in companies.

This second edition of Green Employment Destination is launched after the one carried out by the Empleaverde Programme in 2018 focused on social innovation, where 50% of the participants managed to find work.

The new edition will feature Action Against Hunger, through its training itineraries focused on personal development and the acquisition of skills in its Employment Schools. In addition, it has the collaboration of the La Noria Social Innovation Center, the Malaga Provincial Council and La Caixa Social Work.

The registration period is now open here, on the empleaverde.es website and on redemprendeverde.es and will end on September 3.
