We have signed a collaboration agreement with the General Council of Notaries to strengthen the legal security of land stewardship as a conservation tool. Thanks to this alliance, we will collaborate in the analysis and regulatory improvement of land stewardship, promoting legislative and legal practice proposals that contribute to promoting this tool. In addition, the Notariat will offer advice to entities and landowners through an online consultation. Likewise, conferences, colloquiums, round tables, seminars or study or dissemination tables will be held on legal topics that are of common interest.

The Land Stewardship Commission of the General Council of Notaries will attend a free legal consultation aimed at resolving doubts that the entities dedicated to the custody of the territory and the owners of the land may have. Through this clinic, the General Council of Notaries will carry out its activity in coordination with the Biodiversity Foundation, through the Land Stewardship Platform, which can be accessed from its website.

Thanks to this agreement, notaries will be able to contribute to strengthening and promoting land stewardship agreements, necessary for nature conservation in Spain. The function of notaries in this framework will be to confer security and clarity to legal relations and adapt them to the will of the parties, ensuring their legality.
