The Biodiversity Foundation has implemented an internal information system in accordance with Law 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory breaches and the fight against corruption. Within this system, an internal information channel has been established, which allows the submission of complaints, anonymous or identified, verbally or in writing, and any information related to possible infringements by the Biodiversity Foundation.
The internal information channel ensures the confidentiality of communications and protects whistleblowers against retaliation. In addition, it ensures the protection of personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, preventing unauthorized access and the storage of the complainant’s IP address.

WHO CAN COMMUNICATE ON THIS CHANNEL?
This internal information channel is reserved for natural persons who have or have had a professional relationship with the Biodiversity Foundation, as well as those whose employment relationship has not yet begun, in cases where the information on infringements has been obtained during the selection process or pre-contractual negotiation, and who have obtained information on possible infringements in a work or professional context. in accordance with Article 3 of Law 2/2023, of 20 February.

CONTENT OF COMMUNICATIONS
The communication must contain clear and concrete identifying elements that can be verified or verifiable directly or through investigation. To this end, it must provide a detailed description of the facts, dates, places, persons and entities involved and, if possible, provide documentation that allows its proof or at least the indications on which it is based. It is also advisable to indicate other people who could help corroborate the facts.
