Call BiodivProtect of the European Biodiversity Partnership (Biodiversa +) for the support to the protection of biodiversity and terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
This call, intended to support 3-year transnational research projects, is co-funded by the European Commission within the state program for scientific, technical and innovation research 2021-2023 and addresses the following three (non-exclusive) topics:
– Knowledge to identify priority conservation areas, establish effective and resilient ecological networks, improve species protection and preserve genetic diversity.
– Multiple benefits and costs of biodiversity and ecosystem protection: synergies and trade-offs.
– Effective management and equitable governance for effective conservation outcomes.
