It is important to send the message that many of the impacts of climate change are already here, we don't have to wait to act.
25 April 2025
Gabriel Jordà, Ana Moreno and Luis Durán are 3 of the scientists who have participated in the preparation of the CLIVAR-Spain 2024 report. This publication brings together the most recent scientific advances and complements the conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) at a global level, providing a detailed overview of climate impacts and risks in Spain. The report provides a key update on the state of the climate in Spain, highlighting the effects of climate change on the country’s terrestrial and marine ecosystems. The CLIVAR-Spain Committee, responsible for the report, is part of an international initiative aimed at improving the understanding of climate change and its effects, and since its creation in 2004, it has established itself as a benchmark in climate research in Spain, coordinating studies on climate variability, changes in the atmosphere and ocean, and future projections.

In the 16th episode of “Naturally” we talk to the activist, nutritionist and writer Carlota Bruna, who at 26 years old has become one of the great references in the creation of content linked to sustainability. Born in Barcelona in July 1997, she studied Human Nutrition and Dietetics to try to investigate how through food or slow fashion she could teach how to combat climate change, the extinction of animals or ocean pollution. A great advocate of positive communication and combating the greenwashing that, even today, many companies practice, she is convinced that we all have a lot to say and do to achieve a more sustainable planet.

From journalist to geographer or vice versa
September 30, 2022
Jacob Petrus, geographer and director of TVE’s Aquí la Tierra programme, is the first guest on the podcast Naturally. Born in Manresa in 1976, he was always interested in everything related to nature and, although he wanted to study journalism, he found in Geography a career that covered a large part of his concerns.
