Under the supervision of the Coordination of the Economic and Human Capital Area and the Legal, Financial and Human Capital Sub-Directorate, accounting, economic and financial management of Fundación Biodiversidad (FB) projects, especially projects financed with European Union Funds in the Operational Program 2021-2027 (FSE+, FEMPA, FEDER and Life) as well as projects financed with the National Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience, “Next Generation EU”.

  • Support in the economic and budgetary part of contracting and projects managed by the FB as Financial Support Technician.
  • Draft and update the manuals and action guides of the different procedures established in relation to economic management and that bring the procedures closer to the practical management in the computer tools or ERP.
  • Participate in the drafting of documents, reports and reports related to economic matters and especially those to be submitted to the Board of Trustees.
  • Support in project requirements and audits.
  • Support in requests for documentation and information from IGAE, the Court of Auditors and other institutions in audits.
  • Relationship with suppliers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the improvement of processes and organize the economic documentation of the projects and the Area in general, taking into account the internal management procedures.
  • Participate in the process of design, coordination, knowledge transfer, development and implementation of the new ERP software tool.
  • Management and control of the external documentation archive of all FB.
  • Accounting record of all operations to be recorded in the journal (income, expenses, investments, amortizations, collections, payments…) and preparation of the accounting closings.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Annual Accounts for approval by the Board of Trustees.
  • Control and update the FB Inventory.
  • Complete the annexes with the economic-financial information provided to the IGAE in the CICEP computer application.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax assessments for the Tax Agency, as well as any other taxes that may be required.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, support Treasury in its specific functions.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Head, Coordination, Deputy and/or Direction.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics and/or Business Science, Political Science and Administration or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of the General Accounting Plan adapted to non-profit entities.
  • At least four years of experience in accounting, economic and financial management of projects and grants and/or calls for proposals.
  • Advanced knowledge of the accounting management program ContaWin
  • Training in taxation and audit procedures for actions co-financed by structural funds.
  • At least five years of experience in third sector entities or in the public sector.
  • In view of the characteristics of the job position, having a pre-existing fixed and indefinite relationship in the state public sector will be taken into account.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with professional category of 1st Technician.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 30.690,77 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: seven years
