1 Technician (temporary) for the Area of Green Economy and Employment

He/she will contribute to the management of the activities of the area’s own projects for their correct development. Projects and actions related to the private sector and biodiversity for a sustainable
The Spanish Business and Biodiversity Initiative (IEEB) and the Red Emprendeverde (REV), among others. These could be co-financed with European Union funds, such as the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Horizon Europe for the 2021-2027 programming period and Next Generation.

  • Perform technical and economic monitoring of the execution and justification of projects in accordance with the rules of eligibility of expenditure.
  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with bids, awards/recognitions and the like. Manage the publication process, answer questions from applicants and evaluate the proposals submitted to them.
  • Prepare technical evaluation reports and results. Compilation of indicators of
    monitoring, execution and results.
  • Perform and follow up on procurements, their deliverables and associated documents.
  • To support the control and auditing processes of the activities developed.
  • Assist in the organization of and participate in meetings and events related to project activities and the exchange of knowledge and generation of synergies.
  • Elaborate and design action proposals for the fulfillment of the Area’s objectives and to
    the best performance of project execution, evaluation, monitoring and control tasks.
  • Update regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the Area: identification of improvements and best practices; activities, preparation of speeches and presentations, notes, participation in publications, etc.
  • Prepare project documentation and information reports (databases),
    indicators, reports, presentations, graphic material, notifications, etc.).
  • Support the search, edition, dynamization and updating of contents.
  • Support in the preparation of reporting documents and justification of funds to the Unit.
    Fund Administrator.
  • Any other function entrusted by headquarters, coordination, sub-direction and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura).
  • At least two years of experience in the management of projects co-financed by European Structural and Investment Funds and other Community funds.
  • High English proficiency (B2)
  • Willingness to travel. The availability or not to travel must be expressly indicated in the CV.
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to biodiversity, entrepreneurship, and/or the
    corporate environmental management.
  • Specific training and/or experience in green entrepreneurship.
  • Specific training and/or experience in sustainable finance.
  • Specific training and/or experience in green infrastructure, ecological restoration and
    bioeconomy.
  • Specific training and/or experience in working with indicators.
  • Specific training and/or experience in content management in digital ecosystems.
  • At least two years of work experience in or for the public sector.
  • Experience in organizing meetings and events.
  • Experience in organizing/supervising trainings for companies or entrepreneurs.
  • Experience in management or dynamization of communities/networks for connecting professionals and
    sharing knowledge, experiences and learning.
  • Experience in organizing challenge programs and open innovation.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of Technician.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 27.130,42 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Planned duration: until 12/31/2029
