Collaborate and support in the work and activities of the Unit to facilitate and expedite the fulfillment of the objectives and functions of the position, within the framework of the European structural funds of the operational programs 2021-2027 ESF+, European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), FEMPA (European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund) and with NEXT GENERATION EU funds.

  • Management and verification of invoices, receipts and expense sheets, in accordance with regulations. Processing of this documentation in the IT tool according to FB procedures.
  • Communication and follow-up of the incidences of invoices, receipts and expense sheets until they are corrected.
  • Where appropriate, support in the preparation of documentation (invoices, receipts, expense sheets, payroll and payments) for projects financed or co-financed by the European Union.
  • Respond to requests for documentation from audits and audits: IGAE, Court of Auditors and other private or public audits.
  • To respond to the circularization of audits of suppliers and aid recipients.
  • Relationship with suppliers and service providers.
  • Request for quotations, processing of contracts and drafting of minor contract files.
  • Collaborate with the improvement of processes and organize the financial documentation of the
    projects and of the Unit in general, taking into account the Legal Norms and those of the FB.
  • Review for signature of the Deputy Director’s signature the project settlements for grants and subsidies.
  • Support and follow up the budget of the projects, especially the General Services project of the Legal Counsel and General Services Area.
  • Support to project teams in the preparation of remediation reports,
    contracting and resolution of incidents arising in this regard in the ERP.
  • Support in the accounting record of all operations.
  • Support in bank remittances for subsequent payment.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Chief, the Coordination, the Deputy Director and the Directorate.
  • University degree (also formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree) in Social Sciences, Law, Business Administration and Management, Economics and/or Business Sciences, Political Science and Administration or equivalent.
  • People with a Higher Level Training Cycle in Administration and Finance or equivalent may also be selected.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting, project and financial management.

  • Training in economic and fiscal management.
  • Advanced Excel level.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with professional category of FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 23.554,21 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: until December 2029.
