Call for 1 position of 1st (temporary) Project Technician for the Area of Green Economy and Employment (Work and service) PRO. TEP.21

Under the authority of the Project Manager and supervised by the coordination of
the Green Economy and Employment area and the Sub-Directorate of Green and Blue Economy and Employment and International Relations
, it will develop actions aimed at the conservation of biodiversity, climate change
and/or the ecological transition, promoting employment and green entrepreneurship within the framework
of the ESF+ Structural Fund.

  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for subsidies,
    tenders and awards. Manage the publication process. Resolve doubts to the requesting entities
    .
  • Evaluate the proposals submitted to the calls and tenders.
  • To train, accompany and assist the entities during the process of presentation, execution,
    justification and settlement of the aid.
  • Carry out the monitoring, justification, settlement and processing of payments of the aid.
    Preparation of technical evaluation and result reports. Compilation of
    monitoring, execution and result indicators.
  • Perform and follow up on contracting and associated documents.
  • To support the control and audit processes of which the activities carried out are the object of the activities
    carried out.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in area meetings and events.
  • Prepare and design proposals for action.
  • Update regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the area:
    identification of good practices and activities, preparation of notes, speeches and
    presentations.
  • Prepare documentation and information reports.
  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with the designation of the FB as
    an intermediate body of the European Social Fund (ESF+).
  • Support in the review of the system of dissemination and impact indicators of projects and
    events, and propose updates.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Head, Coordination or Sub-Directorate.
  • University degree (also former Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s Degrees)
  • Experience, of at least 3 years, in the management of projects co-financed with European Structural and Investment Funds.
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to conservation and sustainable management.
  • Medium-high level of English (B2 certification or equivalent)
  • Experience of at least 2 years in or for the public sector.
  • Experience in the management of Structural and Investment Fund grants.
  • Training in Sustainable Development Goals and measurement of indicators.
  • Training in the valuation of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
  • High English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
  • Accredited knowledge of other languages.
  • Temporary contract (work and service) in accordance with current legislation, with the professional category
    of 1st Grade Technician.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €29,652.92
  • This procurement may be co-financed by ESF+ and is subject to the obligation laid down in Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down common provisions.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
