Communication Technician (temporary) of the Sustainable Blue Economy Area

It will carry out communication, dissemination of results and reporting of indicators of all the activities carried out by the Sustainable Blue Economy Area, within the framework of the European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF)

  • Preparation and monitoring of informative content related to projects in the Sustainable Blue Economy area.
  • Writing press releases, news, interviews, newsletters and reports.
  • Drafting of arguments and documents of strong ideas on the topics of the projects developed by the area (blue economy, fisheries, aquaculture, conservation and restoration of the marine environment or international relations) based on national and international reports, plans and strategies.
  • Relationship with the media to transfer the contents arising from these projects.
  • Database management.
  • Monitoring of the Information and Publicity Plan Information and publicity plan of the Biodiversity Foundation as an Intermediate Management Body of the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA).
  • Updating and selection of online content and publications, both on web platforms and for social networks.
  • Preparation of press follow-up of all news that appears in the media and content on social networks related to the projects.
  • Planning and organization of events, information days and results transfer days.
  • Participation in internal communication activities.
  • Any other function entrusted by the leadership, coordination or sub-directorate
  • University Degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree) in Journalism or equivalent (Audiovisual Production/Marketing, etc.).
  • Experience of at least two years in the communication of projects and/or the management of the communication aspects of European projects and/or programmes.
  • Experience of at least two years in third sector entities or in the public sector.
  • Experience in communication of projects co-financed by European Funds or by public sector entities.
  • Knowledge or experience in graphic design, video editing, and event organization.
  • Experience in database management and media relations.
  • Minimum level of English B2 or equivalent.
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of TECHNICIAN.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 27.262,12 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: until 31/12/2029
