Economic Technician (temporary) in the Economic and Human Capital Area

Under the Coordination and the PRTR Economic Headquarters, it will support the tasks of administration, economic-financial management, monitoring, verification and settlement of direct implementation projects and calls for aid from the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and funds from the Next Generation EU Recovery Plan.

  • Manage the process of justification, settlement and payment of projects of the calls for aid from the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and funds from the Next Generation EU Recovery Plan.
  • Prepare and review provisional and final reports on the settlement of projects calling for grants and periodic reports on the analysis of directly implemented projects.
  • Administrative and financial management of projects.
  • Management and budgetary control of projects.
  • Review of eligibility for all project expenditures, including those of partners.
  • Preparation of the financial documentation justifying the projects.
  • Management of the entire external audit process of expenses. Preparation of documentation and
  • Allegations against the requests of the General Comptroller of the State Administration
  • (IGAE), Court of Auditors (TC) and report to the Managing Authorities, certification and auditing.
  • Supervise the follow-up of the technical and economic execution of the company’s own projects and those of calls for proposals. Controlling the execution of the technical assistance assigned to its subject.
  • Prepare economic reports of projects. Compile project monitoring/execution/result indicators.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Deputy Directorate and the Directorate.
  • University Degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree) in Social Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Economics and/or Business, Political and Administration Sciences or equivalent.
  • Experience of at least one year in the tasks described above.
  • Experience of at least 1 year in or for the public sector.
  • Specific training in Excel.
  • Intermediate level of English (B1 level or equivalent)
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with a professional category TECHNICIAN.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 26.998,72 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: until June 2026.
