Head of Projects for the Green Economy and Employment Area

Carry out the management of the area’s projects through their execution, monitoring, technical and economic control based on the planned objectives.
The area promotes initiatives, such as the Empleaverde Programme (co-financed by the ESF+), which facilitate access to training and allow people, both unemployed and working and entrepreneurial, to face the changes that occur in the labour market with greater confidence.

  • Assist the Coordination in proposing actions, planning and monitoring the execution of the projects and their actions, organizing and supervising the work team.
  • Participate in the preparation of bases, calls for proposals, specifications, conditions for participation, forms and procedures.
  • Manage the process of publication of calls, tenders, training and evaluation.
  • Prepare the documentation and participate in the Evaluation Committees, participating in the procedure for proposing a resolution and final resolution.
  • Organize and participate in the training of beneficiary entities.
  • Resolving doubts to entities and the technical team.
  • Attend meetings of auditing and/or certifying companies, suppliers and collaborating entities. Follow-up and control of external assistance.
  • To prepare and manage action plans, management reports and Area budgets.
  • Evaluate technically and economically the execution of projects and contracts through evaluation and analysis reports. Preparation of technical reports and their approval.
  • Design and organize activities, such as events and conferences, to present the Area’s activities and expand the network of professional contacts.
  • Edit, dynamize and update content on the web and RRSS, implementing improvements and evolutionary developments of the projects’ websites. Collect indicators of dissemination and impact of projects and events.
  • Follow up on regulatory developments, strategies, plans. Research and benchmark initiatives related to project themes. Elaborate technical proposals for action.
  • Liaise and follow up on communications with the European Social Fund Administrative Unit (UAFSE)
  • Elaborate proposals for improvement and contribution to the better performance of project execution, evaluation, follow-up and control tasks.
  • Prepare reports for the Coordination, the Deputy Director and the Management.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, the Deputy Director and the Directorate.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s degrees)
  • At least 8 years of experience in or for the public sector.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in the management of projects co-financed by European Structural and Investment Funds 2014-2020 and 2021-2027 in Intermediate Bodies managing these funds.
  • High proficiency in English (C1).
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to conservation and sustainable management.
  • Specific training in European funds.
  • Training or experience in issues related to green employment.
  • Willingness to travel to national and international events.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of Head.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €41,467.82
  • This procurement may be co-financed by ESF+ and is subject to the obligation laid down in Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 laying down common provisions on the ERDF, ESF+, the Cohesion Fund, the Just Transition Fund and the EMFAF
