Manage, evaluate and follow up on projects and calls for proposals with actions
aimed at the renaturalization of cities using Nature-based solutions,
in the context of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, “Next Generation EU”.

  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for proposals for subsidies and
    contracting (bids and other contracts). Manage these processes and resolve doubts to the
    requesting entities.
  • Evaluate the proposals submitted to the calls for proposals and contracting.
  • Train, accompany and assist the beneficiary entities during the different phases of the projects. To carry out the technical and economic follow-up of the execution, justification, liquidation and payment of the projects and the call for proposals. Define documents, models and indicators for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation associated with projects and calls for proposals.
  • Participate in the organization and attend meetings, events and training related to the Area’s activity.
  • Participate in the elaboration and design of action proposals for the fulfillment of the objectives of the Cities Area of the Foundation and for the best performance of the tasks of execution, evaluation, monitoring and control of the projects.
  • To monitor developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs and projects related to the Area and its activities: identification of best practices and activities, preparation of speeches and presentations, participation in publications, etc.
  • Support in the control and auditing processes of the activities developed.
  • Prepare documentation and information reports on projects and procurements (databases, reports, presentations, graphic material, notifications, etc.).
  • Any other function entrusted by the Heads, Coordination, Subdirection and/or Direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura).
  • At least one year’s experience in the management of calls for proposals for grants under the
    Transformation and Resilience Recovery Plan and/or the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
  • At least one year of experience in the management of projects related to renaturation.
    urban and/or in the elaboration and/or follow-up of projects for the transformation of urban space through renaturalization, green infrastructure or ecological restoration actions.
  • Advanced training in sustainable management of natural resources.
  • Knowledge of ecological processes and ecosystemic vision.
  • Knowledge of geographic information systems.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • English medium proficiency (B1 level or equivalent).
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of TECHNICIAN.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 27.262,12 €.
  • Maximum planned duration: until December 2029
