  • Preparation of proposals related to the conservation and restoration of nature for the call for LIFE Grants or other calls for European Funds.
  • Execution and justification of the LIFE projects in charge of the area.
  • Monitoring and justification of the FB’s activity in terms of State Plans and Strategies.
  • Assist in the coordination in the planning and monitoring of the execution of the projects and their actions, organizing and supervising the work team.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports on activities and impact of projects, in collaboration with partners.
  • Organize follow-up meetings. Dialogue with the partners.
  • Participation in the necessary visits to the areas of action of the projects.
  • Preparation of the technical supporting documentation and support for the economic justification.
  • Preparation and monitoring of contracts and agreements.
  • Coordination with other Areas and other interlocutors on the issues necessary for the execution of the projects.
  • Preparation of proposals for improvement in the performance of the tasks of evaluation, monitoring and control of the projects.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • University degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in the branch of Earth Sciences (Environmental, Biology and others).
  • B2 level of English (spoken and written).
  • Project management experience of at least 5 years.
  • Experience in project management for the conservation of threatened fauna of at least
    3 years.
  • Specific training in project management.
  • Experience in the Public Sector of at least 3 years.
  • Experience in LIFE project management of at least 3 years.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of JEFE/A.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €41,467.82
  • Maximum expected duration: maximum until 31/12/2028
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
