NAME: AVENTURALEZA: “Taking advantage of local natural values to develop a range of sustainable services associated with nature and adventure tourism”

OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to improve the employability of workers in nature and adventure leisure and tourism companies that carry out their activity in protected areas (natural spaces, biosphere reserves and the Natura 2000 network).

THEME: The theme of the project is sustainable tourism.

DESCRIPTION: The project aims to support workers of nature and adventure tourism companies to improve their adaptation to the needs of their own market and thus increase their skills in issues demanded by the transition to a green economy (ornithological tourism and wildlife observation, mycological tourism, geotourism, ethnobotany, interpretation of nature, etc.). etc.). The aim is to adapt the qualifications of these workers (guides, monitors, interpreters, experts, trainers, managers, etc.) to the needs of the labour market, taking into account the opportunities offered by natural resources, as well as to improve their contractual situation to guarantee the maintenance of employment and allow their professional progression. To this end, 38 training courses are proposed accompanied by an advisory service.
