OBJECTIVE
The project aims to improve the professional qualifications of people working in the organic farming sector. These are specific trainings aimed at facing the challenges of the changes posed by the new regulatory framework of agricultural policies.
DESCRIPTION
The project aims to improve the skills and qualifications, through agroecological practices, both of farmers and ranchers, as well as of the technical staff of producing companies in the sector.
The Spanish state is the main producer in the European Union and fifth worldwide. A new European regulation will soon come into force that will regulate the production of food in organic farming, so the training of professionals in the new regulatory requirements is essential.
Through social innovation actions, the aim is to provide the sector with skills and tools to value the work it does, to know the positive contributions of its work to society and the environment, and to become an active part of the development and application of agricultural policies.
