The project seeks to improve the employability of users by providing the participant with skills and abilities that have an impact on a sustainable agricultural sector. These new capacities are being worked on in favour of a sector that is undergoing a process of important change and whose updating is necessary for its social, economic and environmental viability. These users, who will be young vocational training students, will be the agents of change that can facilitate a sustainable transition of the countryside in favour of social, economic and environmental development of these spaces.
The project addresses two mature productive sectors, with high national and international competition that encounter profitability problems on farms:
- Wine industry in the Navarrese regions of the Middle Zone of Navarre.
- Forestry and environmental industry of the Autonomous Community of Navarre.
The main value proposition of the project will be the Collaborative Learning for Real Challenges (ACR-R) methodology developed by Fundación Emplea as a variant of Project-Based Learning. This methodology combines the development of competencies and improvement of people’s employment and entrepreneurship skills and the development of strategic projects that enable a change in social reality.
