AgroZero: Ecological transition of the agri-food sector

Empleaverde program

AgroZero’s general objective is to improve the skills of WORKERS in the agri-food sector and its auxiliary services to strengthen their resilience through the promotion of sustainability and eco-innovation and the reduction of the environmental and climate footprint.

It is also essential that each company in the sector has a figure specialized in ecological transformation in charge of integrating biodiversity into management and business processes to make more efficient use of natural resources. AgroZero intends to act as a mediator in this transition.

The AGROZERO Program seeks to promote the improvement of employment in economic activities linked to the green economy, promoting social innovation with a positive environmental impact, promoting the creation and growth of green companies. Specifically, it is focused on improving the skills and qualifications of workers, both employed and self-employed, in sustainability issues. Only for workers and self-employed in the agri-food sector and its auxiliary services in the Community of Castilla La Mancha and the Region of Murcia.
