OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to train unemployed people to generate and manage sustainable chestnut plantations, in order to obtain fruit (chestnut), mushrooms and wood, facilitating the use of forest resources for social, economic and environmental use.

THEME: The project addresses the issue of sustainable forest management.

DESCRIPTION: The actions to be carried out will be of a formative nature (12). The training activities will be carried out in Galicia (10) and Asturias (2).

The aim is to guarantee sustainability through the long-term implementation of activities such as:

Job bank for professionals.

Meetings between the business, associative and cooperative fabric.

To promote the conditions for the creation of an integrated network of the different professionals of the chestnut value chain.
