Empleaverde program

AXIS: Improvement

LINE: Empleaverde

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the project is the creation of green employment through the training of workers by assuming a new role in organizations, that of Circular Economy Manager (GEC), which helps the company in the transition to this new model.

DESCRIPTION

For almost a decade, there has been an upward trend in Europe to adapt to the Circular Economy. This model aims for industrial ecosystems to emulate natural ecosystems in which waste generation is practically zero, since there is an almost total reuse of resources in a permanent symbiosis.

For this paradigm shift to occur, action must be taken on every phase of the value chain: from raw materials to the consumption of goods and their subsequent reuse. To do this, new technologies, processes, and business models are needed. Likewise, a qualified workforce with specific skills is required to implement this paradigm shift in organizations and facilitate the transition from the linear model to the circular model.

Therefore, it is essential to complete the knowledge and skills of workers, in addition to adapting curricula and training courses to improve their qualifications. The subject matter of the courses will include environmental management, energy management, water management and waste recovery.
